The history of cocktails: Tommy's Margarita
At the beginning of ’90 Julio Bermejo invented this cocktail and called it as the family restaurant-bar in San Francisco famous as “the best tequila bar on earth”. Today Tommy’s Margarita is on the cocktail menu of the best bar of the world and, at the same time, the small family restaurant where it was born has become a mecca for bartenders and curious people who want to try it, living an unforgettable experience. Why is it different from the traditional Margarita? Because Tommy’s Margarita enhances the flavour of the traditional one by replacing the triple sec with agave syrup that is not by chance extracted from a fatty plant of Mexico: the Agave Tequilana Weber.
